November '08: Increase Order Size To Twenty Knights

i was thinking that we should make a general invitation message

here is what i came up with

I invite you to be a member of TOSS. We are a new order and are hoping to become a bigger one.
I noticed you wern't in an order and was hoping you would consider joining ours

Actually, I was going to create a seperate topic for that. :/ Anyway, since you've brought it up, we might as well discuss it here. This is what I have been using:

Greetings, <INSERT NAME HERE>!

I am part of a new Order called “The Order of Sheep Slayers”, or simply TOSS for short. This Order is small and is just starting out, but I have confidence that with your help it can grow to become strong in its unity. This Order will be small, but thus strong in its community of loyal Knights. I ask of you to at least consider joining, and of nothing else, to give it a try for a while. Who knows, you may just like being a Sheep Slayer.

ok that will work. I saved it to my wordpad and since i am lazy will just copy/past it and fill in the blanks

Sounds good. I might do some more recruiting soon, and when I'm done I'll update the list.

I have just updated the list, so check it before you send anyone a recruitment message. Also, send me a message either here or in-game if you have tried to recruit some knights, so I can add their names to the list.

I have a list...small but it should grow. The red ones are in the top 100s, they didn't have an order so i sent them invitations, doubt they will join though, but couldn't hurt to try.

yeah so far only Zephyr actually responded, but i just need to wait a little longer

good work so far guys I'm sory I haven't been on so often and that I wasn't active enough I'll do my best to change that

It's powderpuff that has REALLY been inactive, but im not sure what to do, maybe let him slack? cuz we need the players

well itis up to you but to be honest a guild has to know when to get ride of a player in order for the guild to prosper

As you both know, I had sent an Order-Wide message asking for everyone to join the Forums and reply to the message. So far, everyone except for Hector and POWDERPUFF have replied. Along with them, Akhmar has also not joined the Order. Given that Akhmar is fairly new, I am not concerned. Hector was one of the first to join the Order, but as of yet he has not ever been active within the Order itself. When votes were held on the first merge offer, he was active in the game yet did not voice his opinion. As a warning, I have sent POWDERPUFF and Hector in-game messages asking them to become more active. If they do not reply by the end of this week, I will have them removed from the Order.

I have just updated the recruitment list by quite a few names. I'm doing all I can to make sure we can obtain an Order Castle by the end of the month and get this Order truly off to a start.

Here are some more people I've asked to join us. They're all 700-800 so around level 13.

Good, good. I've updated the list, now with those names included.

In Order to reach our goal, we will need to successfully recruit nine more members in the next week. Yeah, doesn't sound to easy to me either. I've been inactive lately, and so has much of the Order. These next seven days, I'll try to make use of what time I have, and I encourage you all to do so as well.

We can still do this.
