Actually, its not, although good try at interpretation.

If you watch the video, at the end he assembles all the trash into a sign that says "Fair Trade"

Also, in the title are the words Prayer and Refugee. Normally refugees come from poor countries.

Also, during the video, it shows different scenes where migrant workers and other sorts of immigrants and cheap labor are making goods that sell in places like Wal-Mart

It also happens to be he shoots his video in a big Wal-Mart like store.

So, take another guess at what it might be about.

Your on the right track

Its for fairness for the people who do the meager jobs that you never think about. Packaging, Fruit Picking, Factory Lines in China, etc.

The song is saying that everyone has the right to support themselves and receive the respect and benefits that all humans deserve, aka Fair Trade. A lot of businesses buy these goods for pennies and then sell them for dollars, which is unfair, and thats what groups like Equal Exchange and Fair Trade attempt to get rid of, by selling goods from farmers and crafters at the price that the farmers and crafters sell them for. Our church has a One World Goods Christmas Fair every year, where I buy Hacky Sacks from Guatemala for $10 each.

Never heard of it, give me the lyrics

But while your looking for them, analyze this song here by SOAD called BYOB

(Mind the Language)

Why do they always send the poor?

Barbarisms by Barbaras
With pointed heels
Victorious victories kneel
For brand new spankin' deals

Marching forward hypocritic and
Hypnotic computers
You depend on our protection
Yet you feed us lies from the tablecloth

Everybody's going to the party have a real good time
Dancing in the desert blowing up the sunshine

Kneeling roses disappearing into
Moses' dry mouth
Breaking into Fort Knox stealing
Our intentions

Hangers sitting dripped in oil
Crying freedom
Handed to obsoletion
Still you feed us lies from the tablecloth

Everybody's going to the party have a real good time
Dancing in the desert blowing up the sunshine

Everybody's going to the party have a real good time
Dancing in the desert blowing up the sunshine

Blast off
It's party time
And we don't live in a fascist nation

Blast off
It's party time
And where the f**k are you?

Where the f**k are you?
Where the f**k are you?

Why don't presidents fight the war?
Why do they always send the poor?
Why don't presidents fight the war?
Why do they always send the poor?
Why do they always send the poor?
Why do they always send the poor?
Why do they always send the poor?

Kneeling roses disappearing into
Moses' dry mouth
Breaking into Fort Knox stealing
Our intentions

Hangers sitting dripped in oil
Crying freedom
Handed to obsoletion,
Still you feed us lies from the tablecloth

Everybody's going to the party have a real good time
Dancing in the desert blowing up the sunshine
Everybody's going to the party have a real good time
Dancing in the desert blowing up the sun-

Where the f**k are you?
Where the f**k are you?

Why don't presidents fight the war?
Why do they always send the poor?
Why don't presidents fight the war?
Why do they always send the poor?
Why do they always send the poor?
Why do they always send the poor?

Why do they always send the poor?
Why do they always send the poor?
Why do they always send the poor?
They always send the poor
They always send the poor

All we are is Entertainment
Caught up in our own derangement
Tell us what to say and what to do
All we are are pretty faces
Picture perfect bottled rage
Packaged synthesized versions of you

We've all made petty fortunes but we can't afford a life
Confined to pull-out quotes and hotel rooms
They all scream California and it's toppling empire
But can't you see the end is coming soon

Come one come all the new sensation
Garentees then obligates you
Spotlights follow every single move
Basking here on ten foot stages
Pouty lips and oh so jaded
All as if we have something to prove

Despite these petty fortunes we still can't afford a life
Confined to pull-out quotes and hotel rooms
They all scream California and it's toppling empire
But can't you see the end it's here

And if we cared at all about this unknown plight then we'd do something more to finally make this right

Is this only entertainment
Pull the curtains, places please
We've learned to sing and dance and cry on cue
But this is more than entertainment
In a world so sick with pain
This is the only thing that's real or true

We've all made petty fortunes but we can't afford a life
Confined to pull-out quotes and hotel rooms
They all scream bloody-murder over graves already dug
But can't you see the end

and you can hear it here

Its about how people have money and they think their lives are good and everything's fine when around the world there is so much pain and suffering. They refer to California due to the fact that a lot of rich people live in California and they don't tend to share the wealth with the poor and dying.

If thats not exactly right, then sue me, but its pretty darn close Razz
